Carbon Nanomaterials

We are very interested in investigating the use of carbon nanomaterials as photosensitizers for a series of organic transformations. The optical properties of these carbon nanomaterials can be tuned to make better and more efficient use of the visible light in the solar spectrum. We also aim to utilize these materials to catalyze efficient, metal-free transformation of small molecules into more value-added chemicals.
